I didn't know what to think when I first opened this book. It appears to be a book typed by the author at home. I was hesitant. It is a home written book.....By the spouse of the cook. It is written in very simplistic terms and the ingredients are all things you have at home. You can literally open this book up, pick out a recipe and make it. I have and have read so many cookbooks and so many recipes that require many costly items that necessitate a special trip to the grocery store for items that you will probably never use again . And then the recipe doesn't turn out!!!! This one is not like that at all. They are all as easy and as good as they sound. The writing style makes you feel like you are reading recipes your grandmother or mother jotted down for you. Really nice book.Product details

good book to keep handy
It's nice to have new comfort food recipies to try.
What a treat to know the context of each recipe in this book! You have had a colorful life. You exhibit a beautiful heart that only Christ can grant.
I found the recipes easy to follow. After reading it, I booked Mark three recipes I will be making. The upside down pizza is a must try.
It doesn't get much better than these recipes. I find these easy to read and make using ingredients that you typically have in your pantry and refrigerator.
This is an excellent book for basic quick prep dinners. It doesn't have "instant" meals, rather short prep time meals. I don't mind prepping a meal then letting it bake or simmer for awhile. I wish it had more recipes.
